CleanLIFT is a self-propelled straddle crane capable of lifting and transporting vessels up to 25 metres and/or 70 tonnes.
Finger pier width is 6.9 metres. Maximum sling spacing is 7 metres, minimum is 3 metres. Cross beam to ground is 7.8 metres and 3.5 metres clearance of blocks below ground level.Tasmania’s first CleanLIFT installation, including a large lock-up yard and undercover worksite is located at Prince of Wales Bay, Hobart Tasmania.
CleanLIFT offers a fast, safe and environmentally sensitive alternative to conventional slipping methods.

- Wharf facilities are available for vessels up to a 3 metre draft.
- Your vessel can be placed inside the maintenance workshop, which has a floor area of 14 x 28 metres and an 11 metre ceiling. This allows you to make forward bookings for your tradesmen regardless of the weather conditions.
- Access to the site 24 hours a day.
- The entire complex is fenced and well lit.
- The washdown area has its own treatment plant thus preventing all toxic outfalls from returning to the river environment. This treatment plant exceeds all the guidelines set by Government for the use of marine slipways.
- A high pressure water washdown system available.
- Toilet and shower facilities are available.
- You can either use our tradesmen; we have welding, engineering and machinists, or bring in your own. All tradesmen must have their own insurance coverage, which must be produced upon request.
